My Son the Waiter: A Jewish Tragedy
Eisemann Center - Bank of America Theatre
2351 Performance Drive Richardson
As Ringo Starr once said, "You got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues," and nobody knows that better than actor-comedian Brad Zimmerman. After moving to New York to pursue a career as an actor, Zimmerman took a job waiting tables, a temporary gig he still had 29 years later. But in his hit solo show My Son the Waiter: A Jewish Tragedy, Zimmerman shows that it was all worth it. He's opened for Joan Rivers, Brad Garrett and George Carlin, and now he brings his moving and hilarious story about the grit and passion required to make it as an artist to the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson.
