Susan and God
Theatre Three
2800 Routh St, Ste 168 Dallas
The theatrical inspiration for the classic MGM dramatic comedy of 1940 -- which starred Joan Crawford and Fredric March -- Susan and God was originally written by Rachel Crothers in 1937. The story centers on a wealthy, young New York socialite named Susan who is living only for herself. When she discovers a new religious cult, she dives headfirst into this latest fad of hers. Eager to spread the word of her exciting new transformation, Susan reports to her closest friends, who are less than enthusiastic to hear about her newest obsession. Enjoy this sparkling and sophisticated comedy at Theatre Three in Dallas.
