Corpse!
ONSTAGE in Bedford Corpse!

Called a "brilliant comedy thriller" by the New York Post, the frightfully funny British whodunit Corpse! by Gerald Moon follows twin brothers (played by the same actor) who carry sibling rivalry to the extreme. One, an egocentric out-of-work actor, is plotting to kill his wealthy brother so he can assume his identity -- and ownership of his vast fortune. The twists that result as his diabolical plot goes awry prove that, as with most foolproof plans, things seldom go as they should and people are not always who they seem to be. Don't miss Corpse! when it comes to ONSTAGE in Bedford.

Adding Machine: A Musical
Theatre Three Adding Machine: A Musical

Elmer Rice wrote his incendiary play Adding Machine in 1923, but its themes -- of jobs lost to automation, faceless amoral corporations and workplace violence -- have never been more resonant than today. In the new adaptation Adding Machine: A Musical at Theatre Three in Dallas, an eclectic score gives passionate and memorable voice to the story of Mr. Zero, an accountant who is moved to a murderous rage when his company fires him and gives his job to a mechanical adding machine. Zero's journey from revenge to redemption takes him on a heartbreaking and darkly humorous journey from this life into the next.

Martin Luther on Trial
Eisemann Center - Bank of America Theatre Martin Luther on Trial

Although it's been nearly 500 years since Martin Luther fanned the flames of Protestant revolt against the medieval Catholic Church, his ideologies still continue to spark intense debate. The new play Martin Luther on Trial imagines a provocative courtroom drama where the German professor of theology must take the stand in defense of his religious and political controversies. Aided by his beloved wife Katrina, Luther is up against a wicked prosecutor -- who happens to be the Devil himself -- and a witness lineup that consists of Adolf Hitler, Sigmund Freud, Martin Luther King Jr. and Pope Francis. Catch the verdict when Martin Luther On Trial brings its witty and incisive examination to the Eisemann Center for Performing Arts in Richardson.

Young Frankenstein
Pocket Sandwich Theatre Young Frankenstein

Hollywood's -- and now Broadway's -- King of Comedy Mel Brooks has reunited with the creative team behind his 12-time Tony-winning musical The Producers for this theatrical re-imagining of his hit comedy Young Frankenstein. Taking on the classic horror film genre with tongue firmly in cheek, the musical follows young Dr. Frankenstein as he tries to complete his grandfather's experiments to bring a corpse back to life. He's aided by the hunchbacked Igor (otherwise known as Eye-Gore), his curvaceous lab assistant, Inga, and the frightfully eccentric housekeeper Frau Blucher, who sing a number of catchy tunes like "Transylvania Mania," "He Vas My Boyfriend" and "Puttin' on the Ritz." Catch Brooks' lively creation when it comes to Allen's Community Theatre.
